Southern Wisconsin organics is a 1st generation family farm located just outside of Janesville Wisconsin in the township of la prairie, We strive to give our customers the freshest, chemical free, nutrient dense produce possible. We use better than organic standards on our farm, using inter/ companion planting and crop rotation to reduce our need for pesticides and other chemicals. We use no till and regenerative methods on a majority of our farm building healthy soil to provide us with the nutrients our plants need to thrive without synthetic fertilizers thus creating a good Eco system to grow almost any crop we desire. We also pride ourselves on our regenerative sheep and cattle operation we started in 2023 with now around 50 head of sheep and a dozen steers we are rotational grazing around 40 acres total. We also have a organic pasture poultry program we raise egg laying hens and Cornish hens several times a year.

Details-
Each box contains 7 to 12 different organic/natural grown fruits and vegetables such as asparagus, carrots, peas, beans, beets, salad mixes, variety of different head lettuce, spinach, arugula, rutabaga, kales, swiss chard, turnips, onions(green, sweet, red, yellow), varieties of potatoes, cabbage, brussel sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, garlic, egg plant, squash, turnips, radishes, kholrabi, cilantro, parsley and other herbs, cucumbers, zucchini, sweet peppers, hot peppers, strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, specialty melons, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes. Each box is around 1/3 to 1/2 bushel of fresh veggies! Share size can be adjusted to meet your family's needs. We can also do custom build boxes if you would like to avoid certain crops

Half Shares
May be better suited for individuals or couples who cook at home intermittently. Receive one full share box every other week for total of 10 boxes over 20 weeks.

For couples and families who cook most of their meals at home. Will contain salad greens in every box and we can adjust portions to your needs just let us know! Weekly box of fresh produce for 20 weeks.

Pick Up
​
CSA pick ups will be on Thursday afternoon, You will have access to our walk in cooler to pick up your order. It will be prepacked into a produce crate or box/bag depending on your preference. If Thursday does not work with your schedule we hold box until Saturday.
